aterm-ml software package provides Afterstep XVT - a VT102 emulator for the X window system, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install aterm-ml
aterm-ml is installed in your system.
Make ensure the aterm-ml package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep aterm-ml *
You will get with aterm-ml package name, version, architecture and description in a table
